Quilting/Sewing Classes
We offer quilting and sewing classes (see below for this month's schedule), as well as one-on-one individualized instruction by appointment.

Ask us about scheduling a "Kids Can Sew Party" (ages 9 through teens) offering a variety of sewing projects.
February Quilting/Sewing Classes
- Bow Tuck Totes – Led by Suzette DuPont Saturday, February 18
9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
$35 class fee. Materials/ pattern/supplies are additional.
Come join Suzette for the day and go home with your version of this fashionable tote/purse!
Inside is loaded with pockets for all of your “stuff.” Only basic knowledge of sewing needed… nothing complicated here. Can be made with three to five different coordinating fabrics.

The first in our series of easy-piecing classes that feature charm squares (5-inch squares of fabric). Choose from a wide variety of Moda charm packs plus a coordinating solid from our
Stash Store to make this easy lap/baby quilt. Great class for beginners!
- Introduction to Paper Piecing – Led by Suzette DuPont

10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
$25 includes kit to make one 12-inch block
Come learn to “Quilt by Numbers.” Paper piecing (AKA foundation piecing) is a quilting technique that allows you to easily make blocks you thought were impossible. Suzette will show you it is possible to get those pesky little points to match perfectly!
Winter/spring lineup of quilting and sewing classes now available

To enroll in a class, please call us at (518) 774-0475 or stop by the store. Enrollment is limited to six participants per class, so make sure to reserve your space now!
- Supply lists will be available soon for each class.
- Most classes require participants to bring their own sewing machines. If you do not have one, you can rent one of ours for a $5 fee.
